According to the folks at Fox, there are no announcements forthcoming about just who will replace recently departed "American Idol" judges Simon Cowell and Ellen DeGeneres (or the rumored-to-be-exiting Kara DioGuardi, for that matter) behind the show's judges' table. But according to Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, well, that's just a formality at this point.
Probably.
On Saturday (July 31), at a party after Aerosmith's show in Las Vegas, Tyler — who, last week, brushed off rumors he'd be joining the show for its 10th season — was asked about his plans following the band's tour. And this time, he didn't play it quite as coy.
"Probably going to be a judge on 'American Idol,' " Tyler said. "I'm doing it! What do you think?"
