Whoopi Goldberg Quits 'Sister Act' Production After Mom Has Stroke

Whoopi Goldberg had to cut her London stay short, as her mom had a stroke this week. The actress was scheduled to star in the stage production of Sister Act, which she is also producing.
Her fellow producers put her on a plane this morning with best wishes for her family:
the thoughts and sincere best wishes of the producers and the entire ?Sister Act? company are with her at this difficult time.?
How horrible to have that happen when she's so far away. Hopefully her mother will make a full and speedy recovery.
