Returning to his home turf to celebrate, President Barack Obama headed to Chicago, Illinois for his 49th birthday celebration on Wednesday (August 4).
With First Lady Michelle Obama currently out of the country, the President dined with companions such as Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, as well as advisers and close friends at a restaurant called Graham Elliot.
For the special occasion, Graham Elliot himself took a break from playing judge on ?Master Chef? and flew back from Los Angeles to ensure Obama was satisfied with his birthday meal.
Elliot tells People magazine, "We were humbled and honored that the president decided to join us for dinner on such a special occasion,. The [restaurant] team is super-psyched we have such a foodie sitting in the White House."
