Though it's been adapted many times for the big screen, "Alice in Wonderland" may soon end up as a television series on NBC.
A pilot was ordered for Anthony Zuiker's sequel, titled "Wonderland." Set in Lewis Carroll's fantasy world, the hour long show will explore Clara's life and her war against the evil Queen in Wonderland, a girl we used to know as Alice.
The project hopes to capitalize on the success of other fairytale-themed shows like "Once Upon a Time" and "Grimm."
The "CSI" creator will helm the project with Whit Anderson attached to write the pilot episode. Look for "Wonderland" to grace the small screen on NBC this season.
