It seems X Factor's curmudgeonly judge Simon Cowell is a regular honorable Seaman, as he apparently saved 9 souls Friday while vacationing on his yacht in St. Tropez!
According to reports, Simon was lounging on deck with his ex-girlfriend, when someone on the ship received a distress signal from another nearby boat.
