Doing his best to help out his team, Nick Jonas was on hand at New York City's Central Park to partake in a game of softball with the World Wide Wickets on Thursday (August 9).
The 19-year-old dove for balls while defending the infield as he also was seen loosening up his swing by clutching onto four bats ahead of his plate appearances.
After giving it his all on the field, Nick was congratulated by his teammates while later taking to Twitter to keep his fans up to date on his doings, writing, "Huge win for the wickets today! 17-1."
The "Camp Rock" hunk - who recently confirmed that he's in talks to join "American Idol" - has been doing a little shameless self-promotion in hopes of landing a spot on the program's judging panel, as he messaged over the weekend, "Loved seeing all your amazing response to #NickOnIdol keep it coming!"
