Stepping out to promote the new season of her NBC reality competition series, Nicole Richie hit up the "Rachel Ray Show" in New York City on Thursday (March 7).
The "Fashion Star" mentor rocked a black leather jacket, white top, green patterned scarf, and blue jeans as she made her way inside.
Premiering on Friday, season 2 of "Fashion Star" pits twelve designers against each other for the chance to win a cash prize and launch collections at Express, Macy's, and Saks.
Along with the 31-year-old designer, Jessica Simpson and John Varvatos will guide the hopeful contestants with Louise Roe taking hosting duties. "Fashion Star" airs Friday nights at 8:00pm ET on NBC.
