Unable to hold up with the lifelong commitment, Jack White is divorcing wife Karen Elson after six years of marriage.
The former White Stripes singer and his model/singer wife broke the news on Friday (June 10) via an email sent out to family and loved ones.
In the message, White and Elson wrote, "We remain dear and trusted friends and co-parents to our wonderful children. "We feel so fortunate for the time we have shared and the time we will continue to spend both separately and together watching our children grow."
Having tied the knot in Brazil back in 2005, the now ex-couple - who are parents of daughter Scarlett and son Henry- have pledged to remain on amicable terms, with reports telling that the duo are even planning a divorce party in Nashville, Tennessee.
