Stepping out for a weekend pick-me-up, Renee Zellweger was spotted leaving a Santa Monica Starbucks with a mystery male companion over the weekend (May 29).
The 42-year-old was all smiles as she hit the trendy coffee spot with her unknown pal, wearing sunglasses, a gray North Face jacket, and a pair of black leggings.
Renee, who split from "Hangover 2" hunk Bradley Cooper in March, is reportedly angry with her ex following an alleged hookup between him and actress Olivia Wilde, as an insider told, "Renee respected his decision and his motives but hearing about him dating another woman, a high profile actress at that, has not been easy for her."

Ashley Olsen: Gearing Up for StyleMint Launch
Always on the go, Ashley Olsen was spotted arriving for a flight at LAX Airport in Los Angeles, CA on Monday night (May 30).
The former "Full House" star was her usual attention averse self as she tried to hide from paparazzi while easing into the metro terminal.
Continuing to build her fashion empire with twin sister Mary-Kate, Miss Olsen is setting out to promote their latest venture StyleMint, which is an online venture in partnership with the e-commerce umbrella site BeachMint.
Focused on t-shirts, the members-only project launches on July 1, with Ashley telling WWD, ?The online world of communicating directly with the customers is amazing."
She added, "From the whole process of how you speak to the customer, how the customer will speak back to you, to why did that person buy the blue one versus the pink one and then having all that data. Where is she located? How old is she? It?s like they have these algorithms that they keep plugging in and then they can change one word on their landing site and all of a sudden see a huge switch and know exactly why, down to the mathematical part of it. The ?My Fair Brady? stars decided to separate on their fifth wedding anniversary, and their manager Phil Viardo released a statement to that effect.
"After starting a relationship with what seemed to be irreconcilable differences, the couple has reached a period where those differences are no longer appreciated."
"The decision was mutually reached after it became clear to both that some perspective was needed in order to assess their unique union."

'Twilight' Actress Bryce Dallas Howard Is Pregnant

"The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" star Bryce Dallas Howard is pregnant with her second child, a rep for the actress has told Us Weekly.
Howard and actor husband Seth Gabel ("Fringe") had their first son, Theo, in 2007. Details about how far along she is in her pregnancy or the sex of the child were not disclosed.
The 30-year-old actress, the daughter of director Ron Howard, has starred in "The Village," "Spider-Man 3" and "Terminator Salvation," in which she played a pregnant woman not too long after giving birth to Theo. But Howard is perhaps best known for playing the vampire Victoria in "Eclipse" — and for the circumstances under which she took on the role.
In July 2009, Summit Entertainment made a sudden announcement that it had decided to replace Rachelle Lefevre, who originated the part of the evil vampire in "Twilight" and its first sequel, "New Moon." Howard then stepped in. "It was actually a really unfortunate circumstance where the actress who everyone really cared deeply about, who has done an amazing job in this role, was unavailable," Howard told MTV News that December. "They were looking for someone to fill that slot. It was right before production actually happened, so of course there was intimidation there and feeling a huge responsibility to do my best."
This summer Howard appears opposite Emma Stone in "The Help," an adaptation of the New York Times #1 best-seller about segregation in '60s-era Mississippi. Robert Pattinson's "Cosmopolis" Weekend Workday
Having closed out his "Twilight: Breaking Dawn" filming duties, Robert Pattinson has immersed himself in another new role - as the English actor was hard at work on the set of "Cosmopolis" on Sunday morning (May 29).
The Edward Cullen hunk suited up and grabbed a seat alongside co-star Sarah Gadon while the pair delved into rehearsing a scene shot by the window of a cafe in Toronto, Canada.
With director David Cronenberg looking on, the cameras began to roll as Pattinson proceeded to chow down his breakfast before spitting the food up in laughter.

Lady Gaga Pal Lady Starlight Recalls Their Bargain Costume Days
'We stuck to the dollar bin and panties,' Gaga confidant tells MTV News of their old-school creative crafts.

If there's one way to pay homage to Lady Gaga, it's by dressing up as the pop phenomenon in one of her many signature costumes. Little Monsters did just that when MTV News invited a select few to our studios to watch "Lady Gaga: The After-Show," our special live stream on Thursday night, where, following the airing of "Lady Gaga: Inside the Outside," we spoke with a few of the entertainer's close friends and collaborators.
From Gaga's one-of-a-kind red-laced VMA look to the barely-there hazard-tape outfit from the "Telephone" video, Little Monsters came decked out in their own Gaga gear. Among Mother Monster's close confidants, one who knows a thing or two about crafting outfits from scraps includes her longtime friend Lady Starlight.
After admitting that she just visited Michaels the other day, Starlight told MTV News' James Montgomery about their bargain-bin costume days. "Well, we didn't basically have any money, so we'd go to the dollar store," she said via Skype. "We didn't go to the $2 bin because that was too expensive. We stuck to the dollar bin of panties."
With a few crafts in hand, the duo went to craft store M&J Trimming and picked up the tool that held the outfit together — literally. "We would take this thing called Gem-Tac, and we literally would have it in our bags in case anything went wrong or we needed to make a costume on the fly," she said, adding, "Gem-Tack, dollar panties, something shiny — done."
Asked if Gaga has changed as a person or an artist since experiencing fame, Starlight was quick to deny any difference, citing the "fact that she can be friends with the same people that she was friends with before she was famous."
Lady Starlight was the center of one story during the MTV Lady Gaga documentary, which described one of their many shows at the Lower East Side's Rockwood Music Hall in New York.
"This was, like, super-inexpensive, but nobody on the Lower East Side was doing anything even remotely like it," Gaga says of her early performance show sets. "In fact, it was kind of uncool to be doing it, so it became cool because we were the only people doing anything like it. We would plug in all these crazy party favors, and we would throw glitter, and we would dance in these matching bikinis that cost us $4 to make. I got dubplates pressed in Brooklyn with my beats on them, so [Lady Starlight] would spin the dubplates."

M-Bone's Family, Fans Remember Cali Swag Star At Funeral

On Friday (May 27), family, friends and fans paid their respects to rising hip-hop star Mante "M-Bone" Talbert of Cali Swag District at an Inglewood, California, funeral open to the public. The 22-year-old, who was born September 17, 1988, was gunned down in a drive-by shooting on May 15 in his hometown of Inglewood.
More than 2,000 people, including Talbert's grandmother, uncle and the three remaining members of Cali Swag, attended M-Bone's funeral at the Faithful Central Bible Church. Talbert, who made his mark as one-fourth of CSD, will be remembered by the hip-hop community as the group's energetic dancer. Bone was most famous for doing the Dougie, a 1980s dance that found new life thanks to the quartet's 2010 platinum hit "Teach Me How to Dougie."
CSD member Yung spoke at the funeral about his fallen friend's impact. "I never knew anybody's body can move that way before I met M-Bone," he said to the crowd while sobbing. "Since the sixth grade, me and him been dancing together, but I never got to tell him this: He taught me a lot."
While the service was no doubt emotional, as loved ones mourned the life of M-Bone, some friends, like Pee Wee of the hip-hop group the Rejectz, urged people to remember the positive aspects of his life. "We lost a great person, but it shouldn't be no tears. We should be celebrating, turning it up," he told MTV News.
After the service, M-Bone was laid to rest.
At approximately 10:30 p.m. PT on May 15, police were called to the 400 block of La Brea Avenue in Inglewood. When they arrived on the scene, they founded Talbert seated in the driver's seat of his vehicle with two gunshot wounds to the head. Witness accounts confirm that a gunman pulled up alongside M-Bone in a separate vehicle and let off at least two rounds.
MTV News reached out to the homicide division of the Inglewood Police Department early Friday and learned that there have been no arrests and there are no suspects in connection with M-Bone's murder.
The Inglewood Police Department is asking anyone with information to come forward and call its homicide division at (310) 412-5246 or its 24-hour anonymous hotline at (888) 41 CRIME, or (888) 412-7463.

'SNL' star gets a little creepy with the nominees in new promos for the show.

Ever since "Twilight" sank its fangs into the pop-culture landscape, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have played major roles at the MTV Movie Awards. For the past few shows, they've appeared in movie spoofs, introduced exclusive franchise footage, kissed their co-stars and even accidently dropped a Golden Popcorn onstage.
For the 2011 Movie Awards, the actors decided to get involved in the action a little bit earlier. Not that they had a choice in the matter, as two new promo spots make clear. Host Jason Sudeikis follows up on his desire to meet the nominees before showtime (he's already shared face time with Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Stone and Leighton Meester), and the "SNL" funnyman surprises the "Twilight" stars in some unlikely places.
In Stewart's clip, she has just settled in to get her hair cut, when Sudeikis pops into her dressing room. "You're not my hairdresser," she tells him. "Good eye!" he responds. But the two quickly hit it off, and it's not long before he's plopping a bowl on her head and snipping away. Say goodbye to Bella Swan's long locks!
In the other spot, Lautner hails a New York City cab, only to realize Sudeikis is behind the wheel, though he admits to being "a terrible driver." Lautner tries to escape, but the Movie Awards host locks the doors. "That's weird," the Twi-werewolf tells him. Weirder still is that Sudeikis confesses he stole the taxi, and as the police sirens swirl in the background, he leaves poor Taylor locked in the car plaintively crying, "Jason!"
Hopefully, he'll find his way out by June 5, when the 2011 MTV Movie Awards air live at 9 p.m. ET from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California. Voting in all categories, from Best Villain to Best Line from a Movie, is now under way at MovieAwards.MTV.com. Voting is set to close on June 4. But voting for Best Movie will stay open through the show itself, meaning you have the chance to affect the night's biggest winner up until the very last minute.

'American Idol' Finale Ratings Up 17 Percent Over Season Nine

Scotty McCreery is just the shot of adrenaline "American Idol" needed. As if any more proof was needed that the show was in rebound mode after a lackluster season nine, the overnight ratings for the season 10 finale on Wednesday night provided more good news.
After rolling up a record-setting 122 million votes on Tuesday night following the Scotty vs. Lauren Alaina showdown, Wednesday night's two-hour finale was up 17 percent from the 2010 coronation, with a total viewership of 28.2 million, beating out last year's Lee DeWyze crowning by 4 million viewers.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, those numbers — along with a 9 percent uptick in the all-important 18 to 49 demo — represent the first time "Idol" has experienced year-to-year ratings growth for a finale in that demo since 2006 and in total viewers since 2008.
While the brass at the Fox network are surely grinning about the good ratings news, McCreery said he had plenty of reason to smile after winning the competition as well. "Carrie Underwood asked us when we met her, 'Your cheeks hurt yet?' " McCreery laughed to reporters backstage after the finale, recalling a conversation with a woman who knows a thing or two about being in his shoes. "I'll be smiling for a good while now, I promise that."
He also said he might rope in his #2, runner-up Lauren Alaina, to guest on his debut album. "Me and Lauren have talked about it for a while," he said of a potential duet. "We'll see if that works out. It'd be really cool."

Lady Gaga's MTV Documentary Gets 'Emotional'
Pop-culture journalists weigh in on 'Lady Gaga: Inside the Outside,' airing Thursday at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.

Lady Gaga gets personal in the exclusive MTV documentary "Lady Gaga: Inside the Outside," airing Thursday at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. The hour-long special delves into the moments, people and anecdotes that shaped Gaga in her formative years as Stefani Germanotta in New York City.
On Tuesday (May 24), press gathered to screen the documentary before it airs, and even the biggest Gaga experts said they learned so much from the revealing sit-down with the leather-clad star.
"She kind of had this meteoric rise to fame, so being able to see that she worked for it [and] it wasn't just an overnight thing. ... I think a lot of us at this point, 'cause she is everywhere, just assume it was so easy, and it really wasn't," Julia Rubin of Stylite told MTV News after the screening.
NewNowNext's Kate Bennert felt the special expanded on the mythology of Lady Gaga and revealed more about the star than even the most die-hard Little Monster knows. "Honestly, a lot of Gaga fans have heard the stories kind of briefly through other interviews, but I think one of the biggest things was her actually going into depth and you can see her get emotional," she said. "You felt like you were actually with her in that room, having a conversation, like you were asking the questions."
Fellow Gaga expert Zac Stackell of The Shout magazine was impressed by how much information he learned about the woman who worked so hard to become Lady Gaga. "The biggest reveal, I think, in terms of Lady Gaga, was the Stefani before Lady Gaga, the Stefani of New York City," he said. "How she became the Lady Gaga of 2011. I think it gives some real definition to her path; it gives a humanity to it."
In a sneak peek from the documentary, Gaga recalls the first albums she had as a kid. "It was Green Day, Dookie, with my own money," she says. "But my parents got me Stevie Wonder, Signed, Sealed [and] Delivered, and the Beatles when I was younger — A Hard Day's Night. Yeah, they were two CDs and they were given to me with [a] little boom box for Christmas when I was young."

Taylor Swift's 'The Story Of Us': Watch A Sneak Peek Here!
Taylor herself will debut the full-length video on Tuesday on MTV and MTV.com.

On Tuesday, Taylor Swift will sit down with MTV News' Sway Calloway to premiere her music video for "The Story of Us" during "MTV First: Taylor Swift." If you can't wait until then to see what Swift has in store for the Noble Jones-directed video, MTV News has a treat for you in the form of a 43-second tease for the video.
In the new video, Swift is in college, reminiscing about her relationship with a fellow coed. The tease kicks off with a flurry of shots: the exterior of a school library, a shelf of books (one is called "The Story of Us"), Swift looking forlorn, her band playing the tune in the institution of higher learning's halls. Then Swift tells us what went down in "Chapter One." She and her newest video beau are laughing, flirting and kissing among the library stacks. What happens next? Well, fans will have to wait until Tuesday to find out.
It all kicks off on May 24 at 7:53 p.m. ET on MTV and MTV.com. Fans can tune in to see Swift introduce the video's official premiere and speak with Sway live on-air. Sway and Taylor will then continue their chat for a 30-minute live stream on MTV.com. The singer will answer a few questions from fans too. Beginning on Friday (May 20), you can submit your pressing queries on MTV.com or via Twitter using @MTVNews, hashtag #AskTaylor.
At 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday, the music video will debut online on MTV.com, VH1.com and MTV's International Sites in 150+ territories, followed by a premiere on TeenNick at 10:56 p.m. ET. For those who can't wait for the video premiere, a 30-second sneak peek of "The Story of Us" will air during VH1's "Big Morning Buzz Live" on Tuesday, May 24 at 9:30 a.m. ET/PT. The full video will also appear on "VH1 Top 20 Video Countdown" on Saturday, May 28 at 9 a.m. ET/PT.
